Hello fellow piggies! Haha. Today’s review is about Bad Bird – Umami fried chicken. It is located at Century Mall, Makati City. It is inside Hole in the Wall (it’s a cute little hub of different food stalls).
I learned about Bad Bird when I saw a post from Andi Manzano on her IG. I got curious and told my friend about it. Luckily, we found out that it is near our office. So, during our lunch break, we hurriedly went to Century Mall and looked for it. Ta-da! To our surprise, people were everywhere. They got a queue of people and of course, we took our chances to try it.
Here’s how they prepare their chicken.
Waffles, dirty rice and 2 pieces of Bad bird chicken. To be honest, I am not familiar with this combination. It is a little weird but it works. Sweet and salty.
Corn, Kimchi coleslaw and 2 pieces of Bad Bird chicken. I did not order some rice. Haha.I am on a diet. Lelz.
The chicken is tasty and crunchy. Every good fried chicken should always have the criteria of crunchyness. Yummmmy! In every bite, you will hear a crunch in your mouth. I also love the twist in their Kimchi coleslaw. Spicy veggies! I am a fan of Kimchi that’s why I enjoyed it. Moreover, because it is my first time, I got a little problem with my corn. Hahaha. I have no idea that I could request to shred it. Darn! Maybe it is one of the reasons why people were staring at me everytime I bite those corn bits. So to avoid those stares from people, shred those corns out. Hahaha.
