Today, we have a special guest. Let me name them kaldereta and chicharon bulaklak from my uncle’s food business – Cameron Food House. This recipe is from my grandmother, who loves to cook. Before she also has a mini eatery business when I was young. Everyone loves her recipe and she have a lot of customers, fast forward to today. My uncle inherited her skills not only inherited, he also mastered it. He had his own tweaks and made it more delish.
Since pandemic, we rarely visit them in Cavite, so my mom ordered this from my uncle. My grandmother also added her yummy atchara for our side dish. Brown rice para kunyare healthy. hahaha

This Kaldereta is one of my fave “ulam” or dish. The beef is so tender and it is flavorful. It has a lot of liver that I have not noticed until I graduated from college. hahaha It also have sweet potato, potato and red bell pepper.

The next dish will be the famous chicharon ni Cameron. You can buy it per tub in a very reasonable price – Super clean and no aftertaste. They are selling this as ready to fry for 500 php per tub which is 1.5ml or 750grams. By the way, we use an air fryer to lessen the oil and to be a little pa-healthy. hahaha Less guilty, less highblood and less uric acid.
They are also selling bulk orders for family occasions or main events. His specialty will be valenciana. It is a to go food for people in Gen. Trias City in Cavite. It is the Filipino version of paella, instead of seafoods. It was replaced with chicken. I will feature it soon.
